CURRICULUM
The Healing Path 1.0 addresses the roots of our emotional and relational wounds.
Those past wounds can cause us to have a poor view of self, or an inflated view of self that can lead to a history of broken relationships. Some of us have suffered abuse and neglect in the past that has left deep issues of shame, self-hatred, and the fear of abandonment.
Come journey with us down The Healing Path. Through focused teaching, and small groups, we hope to bring God’s powerful ministry of healing and reconciliation to those deep areas of our lives where we have built walls to keep God and others out.
The Healing Path provides a safe place to welcome God’s presence. Every teaching builds upon the other to help us face the pain and grief of our past. We then go to our small groups where, through healing prayer, the Holy Spirit’s presence comes and brings cleansing and healing into the wounded places of our hearts.
These are the ten teachings we will cover during our time together:
- Accepting Ourselves
- Hiding From Pain
- Healing the Mother Wound
- Grief & Loss
- Healing the Father Wound
- Embracing Grace-Overcoming Perfectionism
- Facing the Lies We Believe about God, Others and Ourselves
- Becoming Responsive to God’s Love
- Forgiveness & Reconciliation
- Developing Boundaries
