The Healing Path 2.0
The Healing Path 2.0 (THP2) is a deeper curriculum for those that desire to wade into deeper waters in their healing journey. THP2 provides a thoughtful and safe place to look at the ways we’ve become ensnared. Through weekly times of teaching and small group prayer, our small group leaders walk with participants in their healing journey so they can live in freedom and truth. We pray for God’s healing to restore broken areas of life so that people can “love well” as God intended.
The Healing Path 2.0 is a 10-week closed group for men and women seeking greater relational and emotional health in their lives. It is an intensive and unique small group. Ultimately, we learn how to press into Jesus more deeply, allowing Him to meet our needs and transform us for His Kingdom purposes.
Through the teaching, prayer and small groups we learn about: God’s powerful love for us and how Jesus is central to our hope for wholeness. A greater awareness of the depth of our brokenness and our profound need for Jesus. The power of the cross to restore our souls and relationships. The process of walking out our healing. And finding our place in the church and loving others honorably.
Some of the topics we will cover: Despair, Abuse, Anger, Anxiety, Reckoning with Our Hearts, Protective Strategies, Unhealthy Yokes and Greater Self-Awareness.
The Healing Path 2.0 begins Monday, February 3rd and ends Monday, April 6th. We will meet at The River Church Community from 7PM-9PM. Please fill out the application and send to us no later than Wednesday, January 15th 2020. Tuition for the class is $200. Contact David Alvarez at email@example.com if you have questions about the class.
The Healing Path
The Healing Path typically runs for 11 weeks in February and September of each year. Please email David Alvarez for more information.
The Healing Path is about removing barriers to personal wholeness and to promote freedom and strength through Jesus Christ. We bring the good of Biblical Principles to help people find deep healing from past and present wounds. You must first submit an application prior to attending the program.
Our desire through The Healing Path is to help you build your relationship with God the Father as revealed through Jesus Christ. We hope to help you embrace Jesus as the Lord and Healer of your life and to see Him as your advocate and not your adversary in your commitment to freedom. In The Healing Path we learn how to face our pain at the cross of Jesus. Our hope is to lead you down the path to healing and greater life, experienced through a deeper relationship with God.
Going through The Healing Path Program, this is what you’ll learn:
- To be vulnerable and courageous in personal sharing with trusted others.
- To identify and resolve the wounds from your childhood in a way that frees you from the effects of those wounds.
- To accept God’s grace and forgiveness in those area where you struggle to receive what you haven’t earned or deserved.
- To set healthy boundaries with your family, friends and with your work so that your soul is well cared for.
- To learn how to discern God’s voice in the midst of so many others and to act on His leading for your life, career, and most of all, your personal well being and healing.
The purpose of this application is to help us help you in your journey towards wholeness. It gives us insight to place you with a small group leader who we believe would work well with you. Your ability to clearly answer these questions goes a long way to help us in the process.
All information shared will be kept strictly confidential.
The Healing Path classes are held on Monday nights and run from 7:00PM to 9:00PM
Please note there is a $200 tuition fee for the class. If that is a problem then we have scholarships available for those that cannot afford the cost.
If you are accepted into the program, it is imperative that you attend every meeting, because each teaching builds on the other from week to week. You will be placed in a small group with several others where we hope to build trust and create a safe place to allow Jesus to come into our deep places of pain and struggle. Your consistent participation is as needful to them as it is to you.
